Day 3: part 2
So after we left the Paste party on day 3 we went over to Side Bar to meet up with a couple of friends. While we were there a bunch of my close friends from back in VA texted and said they were coming to meet us. So excited. I hadn’t seen any of these guys in a couple of years and due to some unfortunate circumstances I won’t go into I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time with them since they’ve been in town.
We were all pretty drunk and getting drunker and they were showing me the ‘bro tats’ they had gotten (given each other?) earlier in the day. Now it was my turn. Which is how I ended up with a chicken leg tattooed on my left arm (which is appropriate as the theme I’m working on that arm is family and these dudes have definitely been that for me for a long time). But what made it all better is we were all there together and two of my friends teamed up to do my tattoo. Thomas - who is one of my best friends (and the dude in the pictures with me) worked on it which makes it extra special. A special thanks to Dave (DOD!) for doing the lines etc and just letting Thomas do the forcefield. haha.
Great to see you dudes: Billy Small, George Nicholls, Thomas McDonald, Dave Mesa.
After that was done we decided we needed to go home and rest for a minute where we promptly decided that we were too drunk/tired to go back out. HA. Too old for this shit…
